Just some pics of the new engine combination for the 2009 season. Will also be swapping from a th400 to glide, new converter, driveshaft, gears, tires, headers, R&P steering conversion, etc.

It's a 582. I'm hoping the car will run mid/upper 8's at 3350 lbs all motor.

Should make between 1050 and 1100 hp.

Will know after it's dyno'd sometime before spring.

How much clearance have you got on the lifter cross link to the top of the lifter bore?? it looks very close

Looks very similar to what I have just built, are they the -3 Xtra O heads ?

The lifter tie bars are very close to the block, probably less than 1/8".

The heads are the 377/383cc Head Hunter MC's with 2.400 x 1.860 titanium valves.

What intake is that, the Profiler????? I hear lots of good things about that intake.. Oooops, never mind, I saw that it is a Brodix intake

Who's crank did you get?? and I love those heads with them hugh oval ports, and it looks like your avatar will need to be changed now to either 9secbu, or maybe even 8secbu!!!!! O:)

Looks real good, and it shoudl haul your mail darn good. Good luck this year buddy.
