The speed sensation is still there and may be amplified somewhat because you're a&& is only 6 inches off the ground, but it allows you to concentrate more on doing your job on the tree and driving the finish line etc rather than having to worry about where the car is going. Like I said, wish I had mine back!

Very true Ken,Only thing I hated about mine(both) was the small cages, squeezing my fat butt in there and not being able to move hardly at all.A 23 or 24 inch cage would've fixed that though.

This one has an honest 23" inside the cage at the shoulders. It also has a seat with some type of pump up air thingie that you can adjust to make it more comfy for your back.

I sat in a couple of 20-21" dragsters when looking for this one, but seemed pretty snug in the shoulders and I think resale is less on them because it reduces the potential market.
It'll be interesting to see how it feels. The quickest and fastest I've gone was the Camaro at 5.48 @ 125 and geared too steep to run a full 1/4 but ran to 1000' which was ~ 145mph. I've had the wind in my face this year with the roadster so that was different, but used to it now.

Actually I know a guy with a slip joint locally who was trying to sell it, but I never liked the idea of one. Seems like a bad idea to build a place in the frame that is going to bend every time you hit a bump or launch etc. I was pretty set on a real suspension ie 4-link, swingarm, monoshock etc. A hardtail would've been a lot cheaper and lighter and would have worked fine MOST of the time. I've seen a few of them bounce like a basketball in the shutdown when the driver got on the brakes too hard. What's an extra hundred pounds anyway. If I want it to be faster that's easy. I want it consistent.

My goal is to give myself the best chance possible to win bracket racing and this looks like the tool to use for that. The view of the race will be better with this and it's already certified. I won't have time to make the roadster certifiable due to work, so I thought it was time to put that OT to good use.
