The car did run really well last weekend at I 57 dragway in west Frankfort Illinois. We entered the quick 16 and tested friday. It ran a 5.06 friday night and a couple of 5.07's and 5.08 saturday top speed at 141 mph and best 60' of 1.081.
I believe it would have ran an 05 or 06 saturday , but they qualified us with the sun on the track and my tires have about 60 passes or so on them and had to turn down the launch a bit to hook. Not to shabby for conventional aluminum heads and an old naturally aspirated furd

.
I did have the new pre production run 4150 base single trick flow intake on and it seemed to show about the same results as the prototype did on the dyno.
Charlie Evans is working on a pent roof tunnel ram for me to test soon , Darin Morgan is doing the finishing touches on it for him so I am excited about that.
I think we will get in the 4 second zone at the nmra race at bowling green later this month with the single trick flow manifold , it is just out of the box and I polished it myself so it is a good bang for the buck.
Here are some video's from last weekend.
Bubster (or I value any ones opinion) if you see this I am thinking about upping the compression settings on the shocks what do you think ?
